“Often people come to us with a vision in their mind, but they need help turning this into a reality. The most charming results are reached when our clients are passionate about what they want whilst also being open to taking leaps of faith with us. This always leads to a more rewarding and exciting end result.”

Located on a leafy street in Willesden Green, this semi-detached family home has a unique configuration, comprising the original Victorian property with a separate live-in annexe adjoining it. Our clients, a young family of four, moved in during the pandemic with ambitions to undertake a top-down renovation spread over two phases that transformed the property into a single dwelling.
Farra came on-board to develop a master plan for the house - including the design of a 60m2 side return infill and rear
extension, for which we worked directly with a structural engineer and led the the successful planning process. The focus of the first phase of works was on the first and second floor where we remodelled the master bedroom to better connect it to an ensuite and create a dressing room.
Working long hours and regular night shifts, our clients wanted to reimagine interior decoration across these two floors to create bedrooms that their young kids would love just as much in ten years time, and a guest
room that friends and family felt special staying in.
Their master suite needed to be a calm and elegant respite for them. Soft neutral colour schemes were paired with considered wall moulding and panelling, striking lighting, eye-catching art, and beautiful textiles, resulting in spaces that feel both relaxing and invigorating in equal measure.
Practicalities and aesthetics work as hard as each other in this incredibly liveable home.

“Each bedroom reflects the person using it, from the quiet and calm elegance of the master bedroom to the pretty and playful scheme in the girl’s room and the smart but relaxed look of the boy’s room. Whilst different they flow so nicely into each other.”
